Her parents introduced her to the world within Tottenham District of London. Her father is Welsh and her mother is English. The mother of her child took her in when her father abandoned them. She was busy in the Republic Studios, mostly playing senoritas opposite Roy Rogers and Gene Autry. Blackmail (1947), Web of Danger, and The Avengers were all enjoyable distractions from her crime-drama productions. Angel in Exile was released in 1948, and Sands of Iwo Jima (both featuring Duke Wayne) are arguably two of the greatest movies she's made. Her acting talent was not often rewarded and her professional career started to slide through the 1950s. The Big Circus (1959) and Victor Mature was her final performance. Adele changed from TV to film where she had a few guest appearances, mostly westerns. Then, Adele decided to start a family after her wedding with Roy Huggins. Huggins produced several popular television shows like 77 Sunset Strip (in 1958) and Maverick. Her appearances were as guest on several of these. The couple had three children. Huggins passed away in 2002.
